It is Marine Event’s goal to host events at a high professional standard, and we never compromise on safety!

Since our start in 2008, we have not had any accidents or injuries among our customers or guests.

Our company is, of course, covered by liability insurance (although the insurance company does not cover accidents or injuries during event activities). However, participants are encouraged to have regular leisure and accident insurance, which may provide coverage in case of an incident.

We only use approved, high-quality equipment.

Activities such as the climbing mast (engineer-approved and provided by Abekatten Klatrevægge ApS), boats, and kayaks are standard offerings that meet normal quality and safety requirements.

Instructors inspect the equipment before every use.

First aid equipment is available on Rotteøen, and all boats are equipped with fire extinguishers.

No sailing is allowed without a life jacket. Every person in boats and kayaks must wear a properly fitted life jacket.

Children on Rotteøen must wear a properly fitted life jacket when outside the Bjælkehytte with terrace area. This rule also applies to individuals who cannot swim or feel uneasy near the sea.

Sailing in the area must be conducted with respect for other vessels, people and facilities, as well as the local flora and fauna.
